I think he might be on to something here…

“It is important for consumers to shop around and look for discounts and so on. It’s important for people to realize that there is power to shopping around.” – Jim Flaherty, Canadian Finance Minister
I heard there’s a website for that Jim. ;)

New Green Deals Section on RedFlagDeals.com

My family has been in the ‘green industry’ my entire life. Currently they run a solar water heating company called Solar Ontario (I know, I know, my brother and I have been trying to get them to create a new webpage for a while…), so it was with a fair bit of pride that earlier this week we launched a Green Deals section on RedFlagDeals.com.

Having been associated with the environmental industry for so long, I am very aware that often times what stops someone from buying a green product or service is simply dollars and cents. That’s why I have high hopes for this new section. Hopefully we will be able to make it easier for everyone to go green by finding green deals/incentives, by helping our users share green tips in our green discussion forum, and by raising awareness about green alternatives.
