Looks like Alexa is broken because every site I’ve checked has suddenly spiked to a rank of something near 1000, even though in the traffic details the rank is listed as N/A.

More broken than normal anyway…

Well, I broke down and bought an unlocked iPhone.  I’m curious to see what effect the iPhone/iTouch will have on the ebook and audio book business.  Audible has been pretty successful at selling audio books (you can get 2 free books from them here as a trial).  They are one of the 1.0 survivors and the iPhone could be a real plus for them.  They are tightly integrated with the iPod and iTunes, so it might be a decent acquisition target if Apple wanted to get into the content business.

It’s been very busy as we gear up for the final part of the year, so here are just a few quick notes:

• We recently did a few minor design changes at RedFlagDeals.com and there are a few more to come.
• I had an article published over on OneDegree about our experience with the Rogers.com/Gift incident. Here’s the story that sparked it.
  
• We’re close to wrapping up the Back to School season, but there is still time to enter our contest or sell your textbooks.
• We had another thread hit Digg last month. Check out the thread here.
• The Pepsi Win Every Hour contest this year and it’s called the Pepsi Score Every Hour contest (link to the thread) and the big prize involves meeting Sidney Crosby (or you can win a 360, HDTV, etc.).  This contest is always a big deal in the RFD forums.
• I am eagerly awaiting my new iPod Touch.
